ARBTAS NO. 1030 | ARBWA NO. 3034 | BSPL NO. CC7578 | AIA TAS COUNCIL MEMBER 2017 – 2021

SUSTAINABILITY COMMITTEE MEMBER 2018 – 2021 | GYM TASMANIA FACILITIES MEMBER 2019 – 2021

GREAT SOUTHERN DANCE CO-FOUNDER 2019 – | CORPORA LAB CO FOUNDER 1999 – 2019

A registered architect in Tasmania and Western Australia, Paul’s practice is now based in Hobart’s CBD Tasmania.

After early years in the Wheatbelt region of WA were followed by studies in Architecture at both University’s, Paul arrived in architectural practice with an abiding and cultivated commitment to design focused on landscape and climate.
His hybrid practice A Workshop is small-but-creatively-hewn from nearly 25 years of architecture, landscape design, graphic design, sculpture and set/installation/design/direction for professional performance. Notably, Paul has been involved in numerous award-winning buildings and successful competition submissions and has held teaching and associate lecturing and examiner positions at the Faculty of Architecture, Landscape & Visual Arts, UWA 2003-14. He has also taught in a number of institutions nationally and internationally. Consequently, his approach brings a broad and lucid perspective to problem solving and practical application of new ideas in professional practice, also to architecture advocacy and education.

Project management and implementation take place in parallel with model making, prototyping and experimentation with ideas, materials and manufacturing processes within studio and on site for high-quality design outcomes.

PWA would like to acknowledge that where-ever we are in this big Country, that we are with deep time and deep stories with a long history and future of people and place co-existing. We acknowledge the many lands on which we work and live and that the land underpins all life. Always was, Always will be. We pay our respects to their elders  past, present and emerging.
